Senior Software Developer - Lisburn (Hybrid / On-Site)
Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | 37.5 hrs/week
Work Setup: Hybrid / On-site

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a small, agile team delivering business-critical software solutions. This is a hands-on full-stack role with a strong emphasis on the .NET ecosystem. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, influence architectural and tooling decisions, and play a key role in both maintaining core systems and developing new product features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internal and client-facing applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and related technologies

  • Lead the delivery of new features, applying modern DevOps practices including Docker, AWS ECS, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Refactor and optimise legacy systems to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability

  • Mentor junior developers through code reviews, guidance, and shared best practices

  • Collaborate with business teams to turn requirements into well-engineered solutions

  • Contribute to technical decision-making, architectural planning, and documentation

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5+ years' commercial experience in software development, ideally within regulated or B2B sectors

  • Proficiency in:

    • C# / .NET Core / .NET Framework

    • Angular or similar front-end frameworks

    • MS SQL, Entity Framework, MVC

    • Docker, AWS ECS, CI/CD workflows

  • Experience designing RESTful APIs and managing data flows

  • A track record of mentoring junior engineers and encouraging team-wide best practices

  • Familiarity with Git and version control, Agile processes, and modern delivery pipelines
