📍 Location: Hybrid - 2 days Belfast office / 3 days from home

The Role
You'll be working on secure, large-scale systems that manage, generate, and deliver critical customer-facing documents. This role will see you designing, developing, and optimising services and data workflows in a collaborative, agile environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining and enhancing high-volume, document-focused systems.
- Designing and implementing new features for processing and delivery workflows.
- Leveraging GCP or AWS for secure, scalable storage and processing.
- Building and optimising ETL workflows for large datasets.
- Developing microservices using Java, REST APIs, and gRPC.
- Applying engineering best practices including automated testing and CI/CD.

Technical Skills:
- 5+ years' software development experience.
- Strong Java skills with experience in modern frameworks.
- REST API and gRPC development.
- Cloud experience with GCP or AWS.
- ETL workflow design and optimisation.
- Document management system experience (desirable).
- Fintech or financial services experience (desirable).
