Location: Northern Ireland (hybrid options available)

We're working with an ambitious and forward-thinking agri-tech organisation who are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to help tackle some of the biggest challenges in sustainable agriculture. You'll be working with a small but growing team using modern tools and real-world data to create intelligent solutions that make a tangible difference in farming and land management.

What you'll be doing:


* Build and deploy predictive models to support smarter decision-making in agriculture
* Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate data science into digital tools
* Analyse and visualise large-scale datasets using Python and AWS technologies
* Design algorithms focused on crop performance, livestock health, or soil optimisation
* Continuously iterate on models based on field performance and feedback
* Contribute to shaping the organisation's data capabilities and roadmap

What you'll bring:


* Solid experience in data science or machine learning roles
* Proficiency in Python and key libraries (e.g. pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
* Experience with AWS tools such as S3, Lambda, or SageMaker
* Familiarity with working on real-world data, especially environmental or sensor-based
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
* A genuine interest in agri-tech, environmental tech, or sustainability
