Data Scientist
Location: UK-based (Northern Ireland hybrid)
Eligibility: UK work authorisation required (no sponsorship available)
We're looking for a Data Scientist to join a dynamic scale up and help turn complex data into practical insights. This is a hands-on role where you'll work with stakeholders across the business, building forecasting models, automating data processes, and creating clear reports that drive smarter decision-making.

What you'll be doing:
* Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models, including time series forecasting
* Building and maintaining data pipelines and repositories using SQL and Python
* Creating business-facing dashboards and reports in Power BI to track KPIs and trends
* Delivering bespoke statistical and analytical reports to answer key business questions
* Collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data projects
* Supporting process automation and best practices in version control and Agile delivery
What you'll bring:
* 3+ years' experience as a Data Scientist or similar analytical role
* Strong technical skills in Python and SQL,
* Experience with data visualisation and dashboarding tools such as Power BI
* Knowledge of machine learning techniques, particularly forecasting and statistical modelling
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights in a clear, business-friendly way
* Experience working in Agile teams, with good project management and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
* Background in health, food production, or manufacturing industries
* Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and DevOps practices
