Delivery Manager

Location: Belfast / Hybrid
Salary: £78-£85k

Overview:
An established global firm is seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of technology solutions within a complex, fast-paced environment. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the delivery pipeline, working with distributed teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of business-critical initiatives.

You'll play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience leading large-scale technology projects in an environment where precision, reliability, and collaboration are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, estimation, and execution of project delivery roadmaps.

  • Maintain transparent delivery schedules and communicate progress to stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks and cross-team dependencies.

  • Continuously refine delivery frameworks and team processes to improve efficiency.

  • Manage scope, cost, and schedule changes in alignment with agreed governance.

  • Act as Scrum Master or delivery lead, embedding agile principles and best practices.

  • Coordinate distributed teams and vendor partners across multiple time zones.

  • Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define and deliver requirements.

  • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment.

  • Support testing and transition of solutions into live environments.

Experience & Skills:

Essential:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Delivery Manager, Agile Lead, or Scrum Master in a complex technology setting.

  • Deep understanding of Agile and Lean delivery principles, with proven ability to foster team collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Experience managing projects or programmes exceeding £1m in budget.

  • Strong capability in resource planning, risk management, and dependency coordination across global teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Highly organised, results-driven, and comfortable making decisions under pressure.

Desired:

  • Experience delivering technology platforms in fast-moving, data-driven environments.

  • Exposure to domains where precision, performance, and governance are critical.
