Our client is a fast-growing technology business operating at scale across multiple international markets. Their cloud-based platforms power high-volume, consumer-facing products used by millions of users every day, partnering with major brands across financial services and retail.
They are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team and help design, build and evolve highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure in a modern, agile environment.
The Role:
You'll work closely with software engineers to build and maintain core platform infrastructure, supporting microservices-based systems running at scale. This is a hands-on role with real influence over architecture, tooling and best practices.
Day-to-day:
- Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes / Fargate
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform
- Automate processes using Python and/or Bash
- Champion DevOps best practices across availability, security and performance
- Work collaboratively in an Agile engineering environment
Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in DevOps or similar roles
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and IaC
- Solid understanding of microservices architectures
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern version control (GitHub)
- Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
- A passion for learning and continuous improvement
