IT Trainer

Job description.

IT Trainer / Hybrid

Ocho People are proud to be partnering with their client to recruit an experienced IT Trainer to join a collaborative and supportive IT Training Team.

This role focuses on designing and delivering training across firm-wide IT systems, supporting new starters, upskilling colleagues, and assisting with system rollouts. Training is delivered remotely, with in-person support provided where required, alongside the creation of user guides and video content.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver induction and ongoing IT training across standard and bespoke applications

  • Design and deliver upskilling programmes and new training courses

  • Support software and system rollouts

  • Provide floor walking, desk-side or screen-sharing support when needed

  • Create and maintain user guides and training videos

  • Analyse training effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement

  • Support the IT Service Desk with training-related queries

  • Manage training administration, scheduling and attendance records


Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Legal IT Trainer or similar

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Confident working with stakeholders at all levels

  • Highly organised with strong time management skills

  • Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work autonomously

  • Passionate about supporting and developing others


Desirable Experience

  • iManage / WorkSite

  • Microsoft 365, Teams, Copilot

  • Windows 10 / 11

  • Intapp Time, InterAction, Mimecast

  • Camtasia or Captivate
