Senior Executive Assistant to CEO

Job description.

Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO

The Role

This is not a traditional diary-management position. It is a high-trust, high-impact role at the centre of the organisation.

You will work directly with the CEO, managing priorities, coordinating executive activity, and ensuring seamless communication across leadership, clients, and external stakeholders. You will be a gatekeeper, organiser, and strategic enabler - balancing operational precision with sound judgement.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Prioritisation

  • Manage a complex and dynamic calendar across multiple time zones

  • Prioritise meetings and commitments in line with strategic objectives

  • Prepare agendas, briefing packs, and background materials

  • Ensure the CEO is fully prepared for board, client, and internal engagements

Board & Leadership Coordination

  • Coordinate board meetings and executive leadership sessions

  • Prepare and distribute board documentation

  • Track actions and ensure timely follow-up

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key liaison between the CEO and senior stakeholders

  • Draft professional correspondence and executive communications

  • Support investor and client-facing interactions where required

Operational Excellence

  • Streamline processes to improve executive efficiency

  • Manage travel, logistics, and event coordination

  • Anticipate challenges and proactively resolve issues

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience supporting a CEO or C-suite executive

  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication ability

  • High emotional intelligence and sound judgement

  • Ability to operate calmly under pressure

  • Absolute discretion and professionalism

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting board-level activity

  • Exposure to international business operations

  • Background in professional services, consulting, or training environments

This is an opportunity to operate at the heart of a scaling organisation, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making while playing a pivotal role in enabling executive performance.

If you have any further questions on the role, please feel free to reach out to Brendan McCrory directly.
