Software Engineer - Surveillance Applications
Overview
Ocho is delighted to be working on behalf of our client to appoint a Software Engineer to support critical surveillance applications.
This role focuses on reducing reliance on third-party vendors by strengthening internal capability around application mapping, production support and ongoing enhancement of surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Map internal trade data into third-party surveillance models
Support live production systems and perform defect analysis
Contribute to in-house surveillance application development
Work closely with data engineering and business teams to improve system resilience
Support reduction of key-person risk across legacy systems
The Person We Are Looking For
Strong software engineering background
Experience working with live production systems
Comfortable analysing defects and working with real trading data
Understanding of financial markets desirable
Strong SQL and data handling skills
Salary
Up to £55k plus bonus
