Contract Qlik Engineer (Qlik Cloud Migration)
Overview
Ocho is partnering with a Northern Ireland-based organisation to hire a Contract Qlik Engineer to support a major migration to Qlik Cloud. This is a high-impact role working directly with the Head of BI and alongside a team of 5 engineers to modernise the organisation's data and reporting platform.
This role will suit someone with strong Qlik expertise who has experience delivering cloud migrations and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the migration from on-premise Qlik environments to Qlik Cloud
- Design, build and optimise dashboards and data models within Qlik
- Work closely with the Head of BI to shape the migration strategy and delivery approach
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions
- Improve performance, data accuracy and reporting capabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across existing and new Qlik environments
Person We Are Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with Qlik (Qlik Sense/QlikView)
- Proven experience delivering or supporting Qlik Cloud migrations
- Strong data modelling and dashboard development skills
- Experience working with large datasets and complex reporting environments
- Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and technical teams
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, delivery-focused team
Contract Details
- Up to £550 per day
- Initial 6-month contract
- On-site for the first week (Northern Ireland), then remote within GB
- Working directly with Head of BI
- Immediate impact role within an established engineering team
