Lead Data Engineer
Location: Belfast (Hybrid)

Are you a Lead Data Engineer who enjoys building data platforms at scale while leading teams and shaping best practice?
This is a hands on leadership role where you'll design and deliver scalable data solutions, while mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.

What you'll be doing:
* Design and build data pipelines and processing systems
* Lead development quality, standards, and best practice
* Collaborate with architects on scalability and performance
* Support testing, deployment, and optimisation
* Troubleshoot and improve data workflows
* Mentor engineers and contribute to solution design
What you'll bring:
* Experience leading delivery of data ntensive systems
* Strong Python, Java, or Scala skills
* Advanced SQL and data modelling expertise
* Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g. Databricks)
* Strong understanding of distributed data architectures
* Clear communication and stakeholder engagement
Nice to have:
* Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Data warehousing or analytics platform experience
* Interest in AI or advanced data technologies
