Data Engineer
Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
Eligibility: UK work authorisation required (no sponsorship available)

This is an opportunity to join a growing data function supporting a large scale data strategy, where you'll help build and optimise cloud-native data pipelines and platforms used across the organisation.

What you'll be doing:
* Design, build, and optimise data pipelines and architectures
* Work with Azure technologies including Data Factory and Databricks
* Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting
* Monitor data platform performance and ensure reliability
* Work with stakeholders to understand source systems and data requirements
* Support data governance and best practices across the wider team

What you'll bring:
* Strong experience in data engineering and data pipeline development
* Excellent SQL skills
* Hands-on experience with Azure data tools (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, SQL MI)
* Experience working with relational databases and large datasets
* Programming experience with Python, PySpark, or PowerShell
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with stakeholders

Nice to have:
* Knowledge of Agile delivery environments
* Azure certifications
* Experience with automated testing or CI/CD practices
