This is an exciting opportunity to join their engineering team working on a large-scale content syndication platform that distributes ratings, reviews and user-generated content across billions of products globally.
The Opportunity
You'll join a high-performing engineering team solving complex challenges at scale, building modern cloud-native systems used by millions of consumers every day. This is a role for an engineer who enjoys ownership, strong engineering standards and real technical impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, build and enhance scalable backend services and distributed systems
- Develop high-quality software using TDD and clean engineering practices
- Collaborate with senior, principal and cross-functional teams
- Own delivery of new features and technical improvements
- Support production systems, monitoring and incident resolution
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practice
- Contribute to cloud-native and event-driven architecture decisions
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years commercial software engineering experience
- Strong backend development skills in Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience building systems in cloud environments
- Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Desirable: AWS serverless, Kafka, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Terraform.
