Our client, a leading energy company driving Ireland's renewable future, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile delivery within their Technology & Innovation team.
You'll be a self-motivated, results-driven IT professional with a strong track record of delivering projects and programmes that meet business needs. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of business-focused IT projects within a department currently running 30 live projects, spanning key business improvements and refresh initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Senior-level ownership of multiple high-profile business and IT project deliveries, from initiation through to closure, using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Manage third-party vendors and suppliers against agreed work packages.
- Represent projects in governance, compliance, and regulatory forums, and report status objectively to the PMO Manager and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues, while planning staffing dynamically to maximise resource efficiency.
- Liaise with internal customers to design functional enhancements, manage project costs, and drive adjustments that deliver business outcomes.
Experience
- Extensive senior-level experience delivering complex, multi-million-pound IT programmes and projects.
- Experience across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Proven success delivering multiple projects or large programmes, including budget preparation, monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers.
- PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certification (or equivalent) - desirable
