This is an opportunity to join a skilled engineering team working on bespoke Python solutions for a diverse client base. You will work directly with clients on architecture and design decisions, meaning this is a role for someone who communicates as confidently as they code.

The stack is Python, FastAPI and/or Flask, with PostgreSQL and strong SQL work at its core, automated testing through pytest, and exposure to a range of architectures, tools and frameworks as each project demands.
What you will need:
- 3+ years of Python development experience building back-end services
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and/or Flask
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Experience with automated test frameworks, including pytest
- Comfortable manipulating complex datasets
- Based within commuting distance of Belfast City Centre (3 days on-site required)
- Experience working in a client-facing or consultancy environment is a plus
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) is a plus
