About the Company
Our client is a modern, cloud-native digital consultancy known for exceptional engineering, composable commerce solutions and data-driven digital experiences. Around 50 people strong and growing, the business operates remote-first with co-working hubs in Belfast and London. They work across a range of client projects spanning complex, multi-component system landscapes, and have built a genuinely supportive, high-calibre engineering culture.
The Role
This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced QA Engineer to join a growing Quality Assurance function at the heart of a fast-scaling consultancy. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts and DevOps teams, verifying functionality, validating integrations and holding the line on quality across intricate system landscapes. It's a role for someone who takes genuine pride in meticulous testing, understands how systems interact end-to-end, and wants to help embed a quality-first culture throughout the development lifecycle. You'll have real autonomy in shaping test strategy and process improvements, not just executing test scripts.
Key Responsibilities
• Create structured, comprehensive manual test cases from business requirements and user stories
• Execute functional, UI, integration and regression test cases
• Validate new features and bug fixes against acceptance criteria
• Determine regression scope and run regression cycles during releases
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing across multi-component systems
• Test APIs, data flows and third-party integrations to confirm correct behaviour and data exchange
• Identify, document and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve integration issues
• Assess quality impact of system changes alongside cross-functional teams
• Contribute quality-focused insights during sprint ceremonies
• Provide clear, timely feedback on release readiness and quality risks
