Digital Workplace Lead | Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams | Ballymena (On-site)

Location: Ballymena (5 Days in Office)
Type: Permanent

About the Opportunity:

This role sits within a group-wide transformation programme focused on building a modern, AI-enabled digital workplace. The platform will act as a central hub for communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across multiple business units.

You will lead the design and delivery of a scalable Microsoft 365-based environment, shaping how employees connect, collaborate, and access information across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define and deliver a group-wide digital workplace strategy
  • Design and implement a modern intranet platform using SharePoint Online
  • Build and optimise collaboration environments across Microsoft 365
  • Establish information architecture, site hierarchy, and navigation standards
  • Configure and manage SharePoint hubs, communication sites, and global navigation
  • Drive adoption of collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams and Viva
  • Define governance, policies, and lifecycle management for collaboration platforms
  • Identify opportunities for automation and AI-enabled improvements
  • Develop custom solutions using SPFx, Microsoft Graph, and APIs where required
  • Collaborate with HR and business units to align platform capabilities with user needs
  • Lead delivery of large-scale technology initiatives impacting multiple teams and entities

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience delivering digital workplace or enterprise collaboration platforms
  • Strong expertise across Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise intranet platforms
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and user experience design
  • Experience establishing governance and standards across collaboration tools
  • Experience delivering technology solutions at scale across large user bases
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements, automation, and standardisation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working across multi-tenant Microsoft 365 environments
  • Exposure to Microsoft Viva and advanced collaboration features
  • Experience developing custom SharePoint solutions using SPFx
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled workplace tools
  • Microsoft 365 or Power Platform certifications
