About the Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing backend engineering team working on a modern cloud security platform. The environment is fast-paced and engineering-led, focused on solving complex problems across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to building scalable, high-impact solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own the full lifecycle of backend projects from design through to deployment and production support
- Build and optimise backend services using modern programming languages
- Analyse reliability and performance across distributed systems
- Contribute to system design, architecture decisions and capacity planning
- Define and work towards SLOs across services
- Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Product and Frontend
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Experience in backend development using a high-level language such as Go or Java
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience working with data-intensive systems and distributed architectures
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
