Who You'll Work For

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be a core member of a backend team designing and delivering the services that sit at the heart of the platform. In practice, that looks like:
- Designing, building, and maintaining backend services and APIs
- Contributing to the migration of monolith systems into modern microservices
- Writing high-quality, test-driven code using TDD/BDD practices
- Collaborating with engineers across teams and time zones
- Supporting system reliability, monitoring, and performance
- Participating in on-call rotation for production support
- Mentoring junior engineers and helping raise engineering standards

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Strong backend development experience in Java, Kotlin, or a comparable JVM language
- Experience building scalable microservices and REST APIs
- Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience with relational databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery practices
Desirable
- Experience with cloud-native systems and architectures (AWS or similar)
- Prior exposure to monolith-to-microservices migration
- Experience working in globally distributed engineering teams
