The Role
This is a broad, commercially-minded Management Accountant role within a business that moves quickly and expects real ownership from its finance team. You'll play a key role in producing accurate, timely management information and supporting the wider group through a period of genuine scale, with real visibility to senior stakeholders who rely on your numbers to make investment and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis across the group
● Support budgeting, forecasting and rolling financial planning
● Maintain strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity
● Support integration of newly acquired entities into group reporting processes
● Prepare board-level reporting packs and commentary
● Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight
● Support the annual audit and statutory reporting process
● Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting systems and processes
What You'll Need
Essential:
● Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
● Experience preparing management accounts in a fast-paced environment
● Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
● Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
Desirable:
● Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth business
● Experience supporting acquisition integration
