Senior QA Engineer – Hybrid (Belfast)

Role Overview
I’m seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a high-performing Agile team and drive quality assurance across key software platforms. This is a hands-on, collaborative role focused on API-level test automation, BDD/TDD practices, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional & non-functional testing of APIs
- Design and implement robust test strategies using automation, BDD, and performance tools
- Contribute to test framework development and CI/CD integrations
- Mentor and guide Agile teams on quality best practices
- Execute and maintain test plans, automation suites, and performance scripts
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' QA/testing experience (bonus points for Fintech experience)
- Background in API testing and automation with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber), performance tools (JMeter), and FIX protocol
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity)
- Experience in Agile environments
