Role Overview
As Senior Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in modernising their automated testing framework and delivering automated smoke tests for production deployments. Working within a complex, distributed environment, you’ll combine QA and DevOps expertise to enhance the SDLC and ensure robust, high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of applications
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases
- Enhance existing automated testing frameworks
- Implement automated production smoke test tooling
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ automated testing experience within products in a financial services environment
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Proven experience testing capacity and latency-sensitive systems
- Strong understanding of Linux, SQL, messaging, and distributed systems
- Full Agile SDLC experience in a technical role
