Role Overview
As a Senior Back-End Software Engineer, you will join a talented team delivering critical software for internal and external customers. Working in an Agile environment, you'll focus on continuous improvement, quality software delivery, and automation.
Collaboration within a self-organising, cross-functional team is key, with a strong emphasis on Continuous Integration and Deployment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and team leaders to align solutions with IT strategy.
- Mentor and support team members.
- Partner with QA to ensure quality software delivery.
- Deliver both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Take ownership of key features and drive them to completion.
- Communicate progress and raise impediments early.
Experience
· Expertise in C# (.Net Core & Framework)
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL technologies
· Proven application testing experience
· Familiarity with Continuous Build & Integration, Continuous Deployment, or DevOps
Desirable:
· Financial Services background would be advantageous.
- Enterprise software development experience
- Familiarity with TDD, BDD, or similar methodologies
