About the Company
Our exclusive client is a fast-growing, innovation-led technology business delivering high-quality software solutions across complex, multi-system landscapes — with a particular specialism in dynamic eCommerce environments.
Quality isn't an afterthought here. It's central to how they build, ship, and scale. They're looking for a senior QA professional who's been in the trenches of eCommerce — someone who understands the stakes when checkout flows break, integrations fail, or release quality slips.
The Role
This is a senior Manual QA Engineer position for someone who has spent meaningful time testing within eCommerce platforms, from product catalogues and payment gateways to order management systems and third-party integrations.
You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams across the full SDLC, bringing a seasoned quality lens to every stage of delivery.
This role is for someone who thinks in systems, not just test cases.
What You'll Be Doing
Test Planning & Execution
• Design and execute detailed, structured manual test cases across complex eCommerce workflows
• Lead regression cycles and own release validation end-to-end
• Perform functional, UI, exploratory, and regression testing across customer-facing and back-end systems
• Validate features against acceptance criteria with a sharp eye for edge cases and user impact
Integration & Systems Testing
• Own end-to-end testing across multi-component eCommerce environments
• Test APIs, data flows, payment integrations, and third-party services using tools like Postman
• Identify and drive resolution of complex integration issues before they reach production
Quality Advocacy & Collaboration
• Act as the quality voice in cross-functional Agile teams
• Provide clear, confident guidance on release readiness and risk
• Mentor and influence quality standards across the wider team
• Continuously improve QA processes in line with the pace and complexity of eCommerce delivery
What You'll Need
• 8+ years' experience in a manual QA role
• Proven, hands-on experience testing within eCommerce environments — this is essential
• Strong expertise in integration and end-to-end testing across multi-system architectures
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and how modern eCommerce stacks are built
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Jira, BrowserStack or similar tooling
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• The confidence and seniority to own quality outcomes, not just execute test plans
Why Apply?
• Salary up to £60k
• Fully remote (must be NI based)
• 35 days annual leave
• Matched pension & private healthcare
