BDR Business Development Representative

Job description.

Business Development Representative (BDR), EMEA

  • Entry to mid-level BDR role, owning outbound pipeline across a portfolio of enterprise accounts in EMEA
  • B2B SaaS, intent data and marketing technology, using Salesforce, Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Hybrid working, based in Belfast
  • £35,000 to £37,000 base plus £15,000 to £20,000 OTE (£50,000 to £57,000 total earning potential)
  • A clear route into enterprise sales, working side by side with Enterprise Account Executives

About the Company

Our client is a B2B technology company that gives revenue teams accurate, detailed buyer-intent intelligence and the platform to act on it. By layering and cross-checking several data sources, they help sales and marketing teams find the right accounts, work out how to engage them and move with precision. They are on a mission to change how B2B organisations use intent data, and they sit at the sharp end of modern go-to-market strategy.

The Role

This is a front-of-funnel role where your work turns directly into pipeline. You will sit in a sales pod with Enterprise Account Executives and own outbound prospecting into enterprise accounts across EMEA. You will research each target, find the right marketing stakeholders and book meetings that turn into real commercial opportunities. It is fast-paced and target-driven, and it suits someone who is resilient, curious and motivated by steady activity and measurable results. You will also get coaching and a clear view of how enterprise deals are won.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting across a defined portfolio of enterprise accounts in EMEA
  • Research organisational priorities and map key personas across demand generation, ABM, digital, media, content, brand, field marketing and marketing operations
  • Build multichannel sequences across email, phone and LinkedIn, balancing steady volume with account-specific personalisation
  • Book meetings with the right senior marketing stakeholders
  • Manage confirmation and follow-up so booked meetings actually take place
  • Qualify meetings against agreed criteria and move them to a defined next step
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives on account plans, coordinated outreach and opportunity follow-up
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date Salesforce records

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • Experience in B2B prospecting, business development or another target-driven commercial role
  • Confidence to approach senior marketing professionals, and the judgement to tailor your message by role and organisation
  • Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to make a concise, credible case for a meeting
  • A disciplined approach to account research, sequence execution, follow-up and CRM hygiene
  • Resilience, curiosity and a willingness to test, learn and improve through coaching
  • Right to work in [Country], and able to attend [Location] on a hybrid basis

Nice to have:

  • Experience in enterprise technology, data, media, martech or SaaS
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Outreach or LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Why Apply?

  • £35,000 to £37,000 base salary
  • £15,000 to £20,000 OTE, rewarding both meeting volume and the commercial value of the pipeline you create
  • A share of closed revenue from opportunities you source or materially support
  • Realistic, clearly defined targets (currently around 10 meetings held and 4 qualified opportunities a month)
  • Hybrid working
  • A pod structure that gives you direct exposure to enterprise sales and a natural path towards an AE role
  • Structured coaching and feedback in a fast-growing corner of B2B technology
