About the Company
Our client is a large, established global organisation providing services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, with its headquarters in Northern Ireland. Its work supports clinical trials for major pharma clients around the world, in a regulated environment where quality really matters. It offers the stability of a long-standing business at a time when much of the market feels uncertain.
The Role
Our client's largest business unit is building its first ever client portal on AWS while keeping established applications for forecasting, order management and temperature control moving forward. Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers across new portal development and established product lines
- Run stand-ups and day-to-day engineering delivery
- Line manage engineers, including one-to-ones, development and performance
- Guide technical direction and code quality across Java, Angular, AWS and Oracle work
- Onboard and mentor new team members as the team grows
- Partner with product analysts, systems analysts and QA to plan and prioritise work
