OCHO is partnering with a high-growth analytics and AI consultancy at the forefront of cloud, data, and artificial intelligence innovation. This organisation delivers enterprise-scale analytics solutions across finance, government, life sciences, sport, and private sector clients globally.

They are now seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their expanding delivery team, helping bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams delivering modern data platform capabilities.

The Role

You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define, document, and deliver clear requirements across data and analytics projects.

You'll play a key role in translating business objectives into structured technical requirements and ensuring successful implementation throughout the full project lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather and define business requirements

  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories

  • Document functional and non-functional requirements

  • Analyse source systems, data flows, and schemas

  • Produce high-quality documentation in Jira and Confluence

  • Support solution design and backlog prioritisation

  • Define and coordinate UAT testing activities

  • Support Agile ceremonies and release planning

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills

  • Experience delivering data or analytics-focused projects

  • Proven ability writing user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Strong experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

  • SQL skills for data profiling and validation

  • Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, or modern cloud data platforms

  • Understanding of data modelling / metadata management

  • Experience in regulated sectors such as banking / financial services

  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps concepts
