Staff .NET Engineer Belfast (Hybrid) - Up to £75,000
Our client is a global financial technology business with a significant engineering presence in Belfast. They're looking for a Staff .NET Engineer to operate at the top of their engineering organisation - someone who can lead technically, set direction and deliver at scale.
This is a high-influence role sitting across architecture, delivery and people. You'll be shaping how the team builds, not just contributing to it.
What you'll be doing
- Leading .NET architecture and engineering standards across a large-scale financial technology platform
- Driving delivery of complex, high-impact backend features from design through to production
- Setting technical direction and owning decisions that affect multiple teams and products
- Collaborating with engineering leadership, product and infrastructure to deliver cohesive solutions
- Mentoring and elevating senior engineers around you
- Contributing to long-term technical strategy at a leadership level
What they're looking for
- Extensive commercial experience as a Senior .NET Engineer, with time operating at staff or principal level
- Deep expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalable architecture and engineering best practices
- Experience working in complex, multi-team environments - ideally within fintech or financial services
- A track record of owning and delivering large backend initiatives end to end
- Someone who leads through influence and brings teams along with them
