At a Glance

  • Senior operations role partnering directly with the CEO… strategic, not a traditional EA position
  • Scaling professional services business working with leading financial services, insurance and technology organisations
  • Hybrid working, full-time, Belfast

  • Real influence over strategy, priorities and cross-functional delivery during a high-growth phase

About the Company

Our client helps some of the world's most ambitious financial services, insurance and technology organisations build the skills that power transformation. Their programmes span AI, data science, change leadership and strategic capability, and they're delivered by experts who have done the work themselves. The business is scaling quickly, and this hire is central to its next phase.

The Role

You will work alongside the CEO to turn vision into action, bringing structure to fast-moving priorities and keeping delivery on track across the business. The role mixes strategy, operations and execution, so you will move between planning cycles, board preparation and day-to-day follow-through. You will have the autonomy to spot gaps and fix them without waiting to be asked. This suits someone who creates clarity naturally, brings momentum where there is friction and wants to be trusted with real responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO to shape, track and communicate key business priorities
  • Drive strategic planning cycles and OKR alignment across the organisation
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and make sure they land on time and to standard
  • Strengthen internal rhythms around reporting, planning and accountability
  • Own the CEO's diary so their time stays focused on the highest-value work
  • Prepare board-ready materials, reports and presentations
  • Capture decisions and follow through on actions across the business
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams and with suppliers, customers and partners
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters with complete discretion

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • Proven experience supporting C-level leadership in a professional services or fast-growth environment
  • A strong track record of influencing and working with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication
  • High levels of discretion and sound judgement
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and comfort using AI tools such as Copilot to work more efficiently
  • A proactive, structured approach and a calm head under pressure
  • Full right to work in Northern Ireland and based within commuting distance of Belfast

Nice to have:

  • Experience running OKR or strategic planning frameworks
  • Exposure to the learning, training or consultancy sector

Why Apply?

  • £55,000 to £70,000 plus bonus
  • 28 days annual leave
  • Hybrid working from Belfast with flexibility
  • Work directly with executive leadership and influence strategy, not just execution
  • Join a scaling organisation with real momentum
  • A high-trust, high-impact environment where your contribution is visible and valued
  • Grow with the business and help shape what it becomes
