About the Company
Delighted to be working with well an established, growing organisation that is investing in their HR function. This role sits within a business that treats HR as a genuine partner to the wider organisation, not just an administrative function and offers real scope to shape process and policy rather than simply follow it.
The Role
You will act as the day-to-day point of contact for HR matters across the business, covering everything from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations and policy administration. Reporting into a senior HR or People lead, you will have genuine ownership of your own caseload and the opportunity to get involved in wider projects as the function develops. This role suits someone who has built a solid generalist grounding and wants breadth and autonomy rather than a narrow, siloed remit.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job specs through to offer
• Coordinate onboarding and induction for new starters
• Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance and absence
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation
• Support the development and rollout of HR policies and procedures
• Liaise with payroll on starters, leavers and contractual changes
• Support wider HR projects such as engagement initiatives and process improvement
• Respond to day-to-day employee queries on HR matters
• Contribute to reporting on HR metrics such as turnover and absence
